Hi everyone, thank you for joining us for the AI-Powered Business Applications Bootcamp.
I’m Ryo, Technosoft group COO, based in Tokyo Japan.
We are excited to present Dealer Management System with the latest technology, powered by Microsoft CRM and Artificial Intelligence.
Today, we will explore how these cutting-edge technologies can transform the way dealerships operate, enhancing efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance.

Our mission is to improve the customer experience and simplify the interaction between vehicle owners and OEMs/Dealers as much as possible.
This session will last 40 minutes. The first 20 minutes will cover typical challenges in dealership operations, why a CRM-centric DMS is necessary, and how our customers are taking on the DCX (digital customer experiences) Journeys.
For the second 20 minutes we will do presentation how Microsoft’s Copilot Studio and Copilot can help dealers to improve productivity and values in their dealership operations.
Pls enjoy our AI demonstration later.

First, let me explain who we are.

Technosoft Automotive, together with sister company Technosoft Consulting, has approximately 300 employees working together to deliver Microsoft business applications globally.
Technosoft Consulting, we have many customers in industries such as financial services, logistics, manufacturing, and education.
Technosoft Automotive, global ISV for automotive industry, is developing automotive solution and providing implementation services for dealer management systems and OEM sales companies with our team members working in Singapore headquarter and 8 subsidiaries across 17 locations /12 countries in the Asia Oceania and EMEA regions.

Here are the users of our solutions. Many of our customers are at the national flag level and have very high security requirements.
In the Philippines, we have captured more than 50% of the DMS market share, and we are the market leader in Indonesia and Vietnam as well.

I would like to move on to describe some of the typical challenges in the IT sector at dealerships.

Yes, these are some of the challenges dealers are facing.
today I would like to focus in depth on the content of “data silos” that tend to block digital transformation.

Let’s go Pattern1
Even on the OEM side, sales company systems may use different ERPs on a global basis.
Furthermore, if OEMs may develop DMSs for their respective locations using by different ERPs,
the development of interfaces will be extensive and fresh data collection will be a big challenge.

Let’s see Pattern 2
This is the typical application and infrastructure design I have seen maaaany time in past visits to dealer groups.
There are discrete applications for vehicle sales, inspection and maintenance we call After Sales , digital marketing, and financial accounting.
In these cases, accurate and timely analysis of the customer base becomes very difficult.
They can do only VIN level of analysis. VIN is the 《vehicle identification number》 even customer based analysis is must.
In this situation, it always becomes a major barrier to building customer data platforms and utilizing AI.

Pattern 3
Large dealer groups they don’t like to use DMS OEM built, they may have their own internal systems, such as ERP, but that is not suitable for building customer journeys.
This is because ERP is better suited for finance and operations.
Also for digital marketing, Dealers may need a different CRM system,
It is not easy to get every digital touch point efficiently with CRM/ERP which are developed by different package vendors
This is where the problem of data silos still can arise.

If you are using an IT infrastructure that is not appropriate for the modern era,
it will continue to suffer from,
Data Silos,
Inefficient Teams,
Inflexibility and High Costs.

Then, lets move to the next Topic!

In times of uncertainty, we must make better use of data and work more proactively rather than reactively.
In order to meet the ever-changing expectations of our customers, it is imperative that we have a strong digital touch point with them.
We Technosoft feels responsibility and pressure to meet these expectations,
especially from the fast-changing this automotive industry.

According to information published by IDC in 2024, 1 billion new applications will be built by 2028.
With this forecast, the problem of data silos would arise again.
Microsoft business applications and our Technosoft Automotive Solutions enable centralized management of dealer operations.
Flexible, scalable, and easy to use, they can respond to rapid changes in the marketplace and all kinds of customer demands.
Users also can enjoy AI at familiar modern work UI such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint.
Customer data is stored on Microsoft Azure, a secure, enterprise-grade cloud platform.

As you must aware, now Microsoft CRM Is Leading in the Age of AI
Microsoft business applications can help dealerships prevent data silos in sales, maintenance services, call center services, and marketing operations.
The ability to manage operations from a single platform also makes “dealers system users” ideal for leveraging AI.

Technosoft Automotive Retail Solution-Yana DMS is architected with Microsoft’s CRM to capture the digital touchpoints that dealers need.
With scratch development DMS or ERP-based DMS, it is impossible to achieve this.
At our recent global online event, Technosoft Automotive Days 2024, we announced the release of the new version of Yana DMS 7.0
By leveraging Microsoft Copilot and AI, Yana DMS enables dealers to “Do more with less” in their dealership operations.

Let me give you an overview of our solution Yana DMS.

Yana DMS consists of these modules. Very comprehensive.
Our prospect customers always say “This is Beyond DMS” when we do product demonstrations.
When dealer purchase vehicles and spare parts, sell them, repair them, and inspect them,
inventory moving data are generated, of course.
Those data are then integrated backend system, Microsoft’s ERP at virtual table(Inv Trans) to get inventory values.
By leveraging Dynamics 365 CRM and ERP together, Dealers can gain customer touch points as well as financial and cost accounting data that is vital to the company for running business.

We Technosoft Automotive has developed and has been enhancing these apps.
MySales for dealer salesperson
MyVehicle for vehicle owners,
and MyInspection for service advisors and mechanics.
Let me explain those Apps

MySales
Dealer Salesperson and their managers can easily enter data by tablet and smart phone and check information on leads status, quotes, and orders.
This is vital daily sales operations at dealers.

MyVehicle
Vehicle owners can perform Service Booking and check service status from this app and get Service Booking reminders through by this app. Vehicle owners can also check how much their loyalty points they have.
The application can perform a series of operations from approval of a quote for services, confirmation of changes to the quote, confirmation of the work to be performed, to payment.

MyInspections
Mechanic and service advisors can perform circle checks and register Multi Point Inspections results.
The mechanic’s use of the time clock feature allows the manager to check the Work Order’s gross profit and the mechanic’s productivity. All data in MyApps integrated to Yana DMS
By utilizing these apps, dealers can gain digital touch points with their customers.

Yes, here is a complete view of the Yana DMS.
The customer’s data is stored within the customer’s tenant in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft’s robust cloud infrastructure.
There may be the GAPs between dealership operations and systems, but the ability to utilize the Power Platform, a low-code tool, makes it possible for dealers and OEMs to bring development in-house.
Recently, we have been hearing increasingly that OEMs wish to link CASE’s Connected data with the DMS to provide more proactive support to vehicle owners.
With this Platform and Yana Architecture, any data integrations can be developed. Very strong for data connectivity.
By managing on a single platform, it is also easy to take advantage of the recent trend about AI.
Since Copilot is becoming standard features for most of Microsoft Products. Everywhere.
AI that can be used without developing a new program is becoming more easily accessible.

I started this session by explaining our mission.
I will now explain how we are trying to realize it by using Yana DMS Customer Journey.

This is the customer journey starting from digital marketing, new vehicle sales, and maintenance services.
Multi-brand dealerships have the need to leverage unique customer experiences for each brand or group of dealerships,
Yana DMS can flexibly and quickly respond to such needs.
Because our Yana DMS is built on the top of Microsoft CRM and Power Platform.

This is the customer journey that the lead generation, selling vehicles on the web, maintenance and servicing.
It has the advantage of contactless business for customers and dealers.
This E-Commerce module will be introduced later in this presentation together with customer voice.

Here is the customer journey for after-sales service.
It is easy to set up Service Booking reminders to be notified by Power Automate.
Bacause our Yana DMS is built top of Dynamics CRM, back-end DB is Microsoft dataverse,
which is natively integrated to Power Platform. Very easy to adopt.

This is the customer journey in the digital marketing area, which can be easily implemented by the OEM to create customer experience like trade shows,
introduce leads to dealers for test-drive.
This kind of customer experience has recently entered a stage where AI can offer suggestions.
I hope you are not still creating DMs by hand.
DM creation, A/B testing, visualization lead status together with scoring model are possible.
Yana Marketing can help dealers to save time, automate process, visualize data, and achieve operational accuracy.

Of course, we also support used car sales.

Yana DMS is also available for the purchase of used vehicles and Trade-in at the time of new vehicle sales.

Then, we will share how our clients are challenging DCX

Nissan Philippines has completed the implementation of the dealer management system for 56 dealers, digital marketing, and sales company distribution systems, and has started data integration such as Product Masters, DMS Purchase Order/NSC Sales Order, Warranty and others between those systems
Yana DMS, Yana NSC Systems, Yana Marketing, all of them are built by Technosoft Automotive on the top of the Microsoft Business Applications

Thank you very much Mr. Okino and Project Members, we really appreciated these great feedback.
Technosoft Automotive is committed to providing AI/Copilot to accelerate Nissan Philippines business.

Prior to implementing Yana DMS, Gateway, the largest dealer group in the Philippines, faced challenges with data inconsistencies and timely data collection due to data silos.
Currently, 65 dealers are using Yana DMS.
They are executing project for digital marketing areas and further utilization of data.

Thank you very much, Ms. Moralde and her team to give us Great feedback.
Technosoft Automotive will contribute to Gateway’s Digital Marketing and data visualization by Power BI.
Of course, we will support the use of AI to improve Gateway’s productivity.

General Motor (ANZ) has built its B2C customer experience on the latest version of Yana DMS 7.0.
GM is currently using E-commerce Module and NV Sales Module as well as website Chat Bot by using Copilot Studio.
Please visit at their website, check it out.
Now GM is trying to enhance DCX for after sales operations.

Thank you, Mr. Cowan, Really appreciated his and his team challenges to their DCX.
Technosoft Automotive will support General Motor’s next challenges!

Last DCX is Yana DMS Implementation at Kubota Corporation, an agricultural machinery manufacturer that sells tractors, combines, and other products. They completed 81 dealer’s implementation in ASEAN 4 countries in 2023, and they are doing enhancement at step 2, we almost completed.
We Technosoft were able to prove that Yana DMS can be used not only in the automotive industry,
but also, in other industries that require a dealer management system.

Mr. Iwashita.Thank you for your kind feedback.
We Technosoft are willing to support AI/Copilot for Kubota and Yana DMS Users.

Thank you, Mr. Nishimura too. Good to know Yana DMS user’s satisfactions are pretty good.
Today I have described about our 4 customers’ challenges to DCX.
By utilizing AI and Copilot, we will accelerate all of our customers’ challenges to “Do more with less”.

All right, then let’s see how Microsoft Copilot/AI will empower our customers more and more.
Let me introduce our Solution Architect, Senior Presales Consultant, Aydin Meric.
Hi Aydin, I hand over to you!

So let’s talk about the evolution of conversational AI following the developments and changes in the last couple of years.
Conversational AI was an domain for specialized vendors and data scientists. The challenges include, not all bots were built to the specific business as they were based on prebuilt solutions or required a deeper investment, which at times made change management difficult. Built in house bots were also expensive and time consuming to build and maintain, requiring specialized product and technical onboarding. Additionally, infrastructure and resource hosting, integration with business systems, and security and compliance risks made building conversation AI challenging.
Shift for Bots to be increasingly built in-house by pro developers – organizations had more ownership and control as the bot building technologies became more accessible from a skills perspective. However, there was a significant overreliance on pro developers to deliver and maintain, combined with the economy still having skill shortages. And even now, you hear stories about the disconnect between IT and the business creating difficulties maintaining relevant content due to long update cycles.
Until recently, composition of teams building those bots has shifted from pro developers using to empowering everyone, from subject matter experts and pro developers working together as fusion teams. Joint business and IT outcomes, and everyone involved in the collaborative bot building process. And that’s where Copilot Studio had been pivotal in helping, thanks to low code.
And since 2023, Generative AI and Large Language Models have completely turned the conversational AI industry on its head. Both from a time to build perspective, now allowing developers to build with natural language, but also the breadth of knowledge and capabilities covered by the conversational assistant. This is exactly where Microsoft Copilot Studio comes to play.

Getting more value from Microsoft Copilot, specifically Copilot for M365 by creating plugins with Copilot Studio. Secondly, it allows you to build your own copilot for a specific function or audience, using generative AI and large language models.
The key thing to note, is that the, user experience offers low code/natural language approaches to building but allows you go to more advanced since bringing the bot framework composer capabilities native.
Infrastructure is hosted for you, so its an end to end conversational application platform – you don’t need to host each specific service. Its up minutes.
While both GTMs are covered in the same product, they support different usecases, audiences, and channels (Wil cover in the differences)

With Copilot Studio, you have a variety of conversational tools at your fingertips:
-You can build manual topics, where you control the flow of turn by turn dialog
-You can build call actions and create plugins – using the 1000s or pre-built Power Platform connectors
-You can build and use custom GPTs, as you saw in the OpenAI announcement,
-And you can even create custom prompts to GPT

You can then take these pieces and create your own custom Microsoft Copilot, to deploy to your own website

I will return back to Ryo

Thank you Aydin,
Everyone, How was Copilot Demonstrations with Yana DMS?
Very cool, isn’t it?
All right, then I would like to move last chapter.

In times of uncertainty, it is very important to understand our customers. To this end, capturing digital touchpoints is essential.
Recently, the importance of Customer Data Platform is being recognized again, not only in the automotives industry.
The utilization of data is indispensable to utilize AI and respond to customer needs quickly.
One shortcut to achieve this
is to manage all kinds of data on a single platform that prevents data silos.

Let me explain our Future Vision
No1
Technosoft will continue to support OEM/Dealers DCX with Yana DMS and leverages AI to accelerate their customer journey. At same time, in-house development is very important for our customers, we strongly suggest this.
No2
It is also very important to improve the accuracy of inventory forecasting.
To do so, OEM/Dealers will need information not only from their own company but also from their suppliers.
The automotive industry may be required to respond to efforts to connect and visualize the entire supply chain with the goal of exchanging data in a secure and reliable manner and increasing transparency throughout the supply chain.Technosoft Automotive recognizes the importance of this area as well.
No3
At a previous Microsoft partner event, Directions Asia 2024, it was last May
Technosoft Automotive demonstrated how carbon emissions are collected using RPA – Power Automate Desktop, extracting data from multiple applications and several excel data, then data formatting, and imported into Microsoft’s ERP and visualized CFP results. All automation was a big surprise to event attendees.
Sustainability is also becoming very hot for OEMs/Dealers. Finally, monthly financial results that include non-financial data will begin in our region.
Technosoft Automotive is committed to taking these initiatives seriously in order to achieve our mission.

Obviously, companies need to support their employees so that they can work in a way that fits the Era.
Working with Microsoft as your business partner is the best choice
I would like to ask you one last favor.
